Biography

MengChu Zhou (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, USA in 1990 and then joined New Jersey Institute of Technology where he is now a Distinguished Professor. His research interests include Petri nets, automation, internet of things, and big data. He has over 900 publications including 12 books, 600+ journal papers (450+ in IEEE transactions), 28 patents and 29 book-chapters. He is Fellow of IFAC, AAAS, CAA and NAI.(Based on document published on 30 June 2022).

KAIZHOU GAO

Biography

Kaizhou Gao received the Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2016. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Research Associate with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, NTU, where he has been a Research Fellow from 2015 to 2018. He is currently an assistant professor at the Macau Institute of Systems Engineering, Macau University of Science and Technology. His research interests include intelligent computation, optimization, scheduling, and intelligent transportation. He has published over 100 refereed papers. He is currently an associate editor of the international journals Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Expert Systems with Applications, and IET Collaborative Intelligent Manufacturing.

Yangming Zhou

Biography

Yangming Zhou (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in automation from Donghua University, Shanghai, China, in 2011, the M.S. degree in control engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Angers, Angers, France, in 2018. He is currently an assistant professor of Sino US Logistics Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University. His current research interests include evolutionary computation, pattern recognition, and machine learning.

CHENYANG ZHANG

Biography

Chenyang Zhang received the B.Eng. degree from the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China, in 2018. He received the degree of Master of Science in Advanced Computer Science (pass with distinction) from the Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool, Liverpool, U.K. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Macau University of Science and Technology. His research interests include lifelong machine learning, reinforcement learning, and linear optimization.

Dian Xu

Biography

Dian Xu received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Henan University of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China, in 2018. She received the degree of Master of Science in Intelligent Technology from Macao Institute of Systems Engineering, Macau University of Science and Technology, Macao, China,in 2022. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Science and Systems at Macau University of Science and Technology. Her current research interests focus on evolutionary optimization, high-dimensional optimization, and multivehicle inventory routing problems (MIRPs).

Jiaqi Huang

Biography

Jiaqi Huang received the B.S. degree in automation from Dalian Minzu University, Liaoning, China, in 2020. He previously founded Dalian Yunjiang Electronic Technology Company and served as its Chief Technology Officer until 2021. He is engaged in the custom development of software and hardware for on-board data transmission equipment for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). He is currently pursuing a M.S. degree at Macau University of Science and Technology. His research interests include multi-agent and robot systems, heuristic search, and reinforcement learning.

Tianrun Chen

Biography

Tianrun Chen received the B.S. degree in automation from Kunming University of Science and Technology, Yunnan, China, 2021. He is currently pursuing a M.S. degree at Macau University of Science and Technology. His research interests include pattern recognition and machine learning.
